ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Leroy Township Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 6:00pm via a virtual meeting using ZOOM.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear a variance request from Patrice Larson, 8422 Division Drive, Battle Creek, MI 49014. Mrs. Larson is seeking relief from Article V (Agricultural District), Sec. 38-120 (Height and area regulations) of the Leroy Township Zoning Ordinance. More specifically, relief from the minimum lot size of 3 acres and the minimum lot width of 300 feet for the construction of a new residential home on the property in question. The current lot size is 2 acres and the current lot width is 200 feet. Mrs. Larson also reserves the right to seek relief from the 100-foot front yard setback requirement at this meeting depending on the final site location for the proposed residential home.

Since this meeting is being held via a virtual meeting using ZOOM, individuals wishing to make comment may do so in one of three ways:
1) Submit a written letter either supporting or opposing the variance requests-
Letters must be addressed to: Leroy Township, 8156 4 Mile Road, East Leroy, Michigan 49051. ATTN: LARSON Variance Request. All written letters received by the Township shall be entered into the public record and must be received by Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
2) Send an email either supporting or opposing the variance requests-
Emails should be sent to the Leroy Township Supervisor, Laveta Hardish, at supervisor@leroytownship.org. All received emails shall be entered into the public record and must be received by Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
3) Participate in the actual meeting via ZOOM-

At that time, you will be provided a link for the meeting. You will need to provide your name and address at the time of your request.
